Why become a Member?
Membership in IAWC signifies that you are personally and professionally committed to the enhancement of the practice of workers’ compensation law in Iowa. The Board of Governors has approved any attorney licensed in Iowa to become a member, regardless of whether it is your first year in practice, or you are nearing retirement. IAWC members receive discounts on the annual seminar and a free law book which is put out by the Iowa Workers’ Compensation Advisory Committee each year. IAWC membership is an opportunity to enhance your practice by working with and learning from other experienced workers’ compensation attorneys in Iowa. Moreover, your dues help offset costs associated with managing the IAWC entity, which is a necessary part of hosting the annual seminar. If attorneys do not collaborate to ensure that we have top-nothing continuing legal education, then our practices suffer. Membership therefore signifies that you care about access to quality legal education in Iowa and the practice as a whole.

APPLICATION FOR MEMBERSHIP IN IOWA ASSOCIATION OF WORKERS' COMPENSATION LAWYERS, INC.
IAWC membership is $165.00 per year and includes a courtesy copy of the annual law book published by the Advisory Committee. The Board of Governors of the IAWC will vote on all applications and if your application is accepted, you will be sent a notice to pay $165.00 each year in the Spring.
